Short and concise, this is the only work I read on this topic so I have no comparison but it seems sound 👍

This is exactly what I look for in historical romance, the pacing was perfect, the premise was intriguing, at times it made me laugh and the characters were so lovable. The issues were all resolved satisfyingly, I love it when scummy characters get what they deserve.
I wouldn't change anything about this book, it was a good light read.

This was so fun, reading this while sick was the best thing, it just felt like a romcom movie in a book. The ass whopping scenes were truly satisfying.
Didn't like the message of selfishness or living for only yourself that Rome tried to push, but it ended up more along the lines of standing up for yourself, which yes.
Bro I cannot tell you how happy I am that Evie did not end up with Christan btw

Also the drama was there but it was light enough to not take away the fun and palate cleanser aspect of the book. I also loved that body issues weren't the focus of this book, it'   just no.
I had fun.
