Review: From Air was a book that was supremely hard to put down! Jewel E. Ann once again gave us a book that ticks all the angst and emotional cups I have while reading and Jamieโs story was truly one that sucked me in. From the beginning I loved how strong yet broken Jamieโs character was the one who captured my attention and she kept it up until the very end. Jewel E. Ann was able to balance the struggles, the heart, the romance and Jamieโs growth in a way that did not feel rushed but also provided all the stuff we needed!
Jamie and Calvin are also a pair that just fit. From the first time they meet you can almost feel the instant connection and as the story goes on their connection and bond only grows. I enjoyed how they had very real faults as people in this story, I know the miscommunication and trouble communicating was a huge aspect of Calvinโs story and I found that it was managed really well in this book. I liked how his secrets and the way he was afraid to be completely vulnerable was one of the things that made him a perfectly flawed MMC.
From Air was a read that stuck after finishing and I am excited to get more characters from this series. Jewel E. Ann was able to captivate me while also giving us a romance that was able to keep me surprised as events and secrets unfolded.
Rating: 4/5; From Air was another emotional rollercoaster from Jewel E. Ann and I cannot wait for more!

Review: From Air had a PHENOMENAL audiobook. Both Ada Sinclair and Nelson Hobbs were wonderful at bringing Jamie and Calvin to life and I wish I had more left to listen to! Jewel E. Ann know how to cast for the voices of her MCs and they truly emoted the stories in ways that made you feel like you were present and witnessing the romance unfold.
I felt like both of the narrators were able to envision the story and the characters they had but also meshed really well with the other narrator. Ada Sinclair sound exactly like I imagined Jamie would sound and she was able to input the ranges of emotions and vulnerability into Jamieโs story that was needed. Nelson Hobbs also did wonderful with Calvinโs POV as the tension rackets up and I enjoyed the way he was able to use the shiftiness in Calvinโs character to add an extra oomf!
This is truly a wonderful audiobook and one that I was ecstatic to have the chance to listen to. I am excited for more to come!
Rating: 5/5; An amazing audiobook that truly brought the story and characters to life!

Review: To Shatter The Night was the Mecca of Katherine Quinn Fantasy! Jude and Kiara absolutely destroyed my heart in this book in every way they could but by the end they had rebuilt the foundation so strong that it left me sitting in satisfaction about the completion of their story and their HEA. This book takes place right where the first book ended and Katherine left no time waiting for Kiara to remiss over Jude leaving her. The immediate shift in her character enthralled me all at once since we truly began to see her fierce inner fire as she began to accept her magic and the prophecy that her and Jude were born to complete.
This book interwove so many old and new characters that I found myself becoming immersed in the world of magic and mayhem that Kiara leaves in her wake but I also fell in love with Liam and Jake again as we saw more and more of them and the bond they shared with Kiara. I can honestly say that Jake became my favorite character in this book and I adored all the levity and happiness that he brought to Kiara and to Liam later in the book. The way Katherine was able to showcase the craziness that he encompassed in a way that made you laugh was truly one of the best parts in the book (epic fantasy and romance aside!)
This book also amped up the world building a TON. Kiara and Jude both have to battle their inner demons and trauma but also face the end game of the Mistlands prophecy that introduces all the Gods and Goddesses. I appreciated how Katherine took the time to cultivate and create the stories for each major God or Goddess but also show how Jude and Kiara were parallel or relevant to the fight alongside them. The turmoil these beings added to the plot had me giggling since I knew Katherine was just going to make Kiara go at the hard core!
To Shatter The Night also reveals the deepening bond between Kiara and Jude. Seeing the innate bond grow stronger between Jude and Kiara allowed me to see how they each CHOSE each other to be each otherโs person but also how they were tied together by more than just magic and fate. Katherine truly did these two justice with the way she poured heart and soul into both of them but also had them be vulnerable with human mistakes. At the end of the day this book is one of my top romantasy books of the year and for sure one of my all time favorite books from Entangled Publishing!
Rating: 100+; To Shatter The Night broke me down and taped me up in the best of ways and Katherine truly did Jude and Kiara justice with this ending!

Review: So Rare left me speechless. This book has the cliffhanger of ALL Abby cliffhangers and I am on pins and needles awaiting book four! I found that Hunter truly came into her own in this book and I adored the addition of Sione to the group in So Rare. Abby was able to bring the last male into the relationship in such a way that added a ton of layers to the story yet also felt exceedingly perfect. The emotional rollercoaster that So Rare took me on would not have felt complete without Sione coming in with his age old wisdom and calming personality that lead to a strengthening of the whole group as a whole.
So Rare is the most complex book so far in Hunterโs story and I did not see that twists and surprises that Abby added into this book coming. Hunter truly embodies a resilience that is rare to find in FMCs and the part of her story told in this book demonstrates how strong she is even when she believes she is not. Abby was also really good at showing her growth and maturity in this book as she decides to stay and fight the battle her mother is putting her through head on.
This book was hawt and spicy in a FULL STOP Abby fashion, but that parts that I truly loved in this book were the inclusion of Joey and her men from the Boys of Lake Chapel series. Seeing Joey and Hunter together again was everything to me and I LOVED the support and friendship that Abby shows between these two fierce FMCs. I also loved and swooned over the mushiness Decker had with Hunter when everything comes to a head!! Abby really amped up the plot in So Rare and I CANNOT wait to see what she does next!
Rating: 4/5, hands up for Hunter and her men so far!

Review: So Wrong is full of the emotional angst we have come to love from Abby and Hunterโs story is just beginning! This book was full of ups and downs and while I wanted more of Joey and HUnterโs friendship, I enjoyed getting glimpses into Hunterโs past as the book toggled between past and present. The bonds between Hunter, Levi and Greedy in this book were so apparent and well done that I cannot wait to see what happens in book 2!
This book introduces the trauma Hunter has went through in her life in brief glimpses and I have a hunch we are just touching the surface. Her story was achingly tragic yet also beautiful that she was still able to smile. I appreciated how Abby did not brush over the more sensitive topics in this book and instead did justice to the darker topics in Hunterโs past! I cannot wait to see how she overcomes the shock of one secret in book 2 and am excited to see her men band around her to protect her.
So Wrong introduces Greedy and Levi as two of Hunterโs men and seeing the dynamic between the three was reminiscent of what a close bond between best friends turned more would be like. One thing I really loved in this book was how we alternated between past and present, seeing how their friendship evolved and witnessing Greedy and Hunter fall in love the first time was bittersweet since we knew the current tension between them years later was still unresolved. Levi was my favorite character in So Wrong since he was the glue that held them together and provided a lot of tension relief and levity. I also LOVED how he allowed both of them the ability to relax and helped Greedy see that they could all share Hunter.
Abby once againโฆ.left us with the BIGGEST cliffhangerโฆthat ending just wow! I am anxious to see how Hunterโs story continues and how Spencer will be taken into the group. His sudden presence shocked me and also made me laugh since he was so different than the others and I am looking forward to the chaos he causes within the newly formed friendships and trust.
Rating: 4.5/5, hands up for Hunter and her men so far!

Review: Letโs talk about So Real..this book man. Abby did it this time with the second book in HUnterโs romance. So Real has been my favorite book in Abbyโs South Chapel universe by FAR! Hunter is an FMC who I connected to in Joeyโs trilogy and have continued to within her series. Abby has done a great job with all the ups and downs in her story so far and I am excited to see where it goes next!
So Real introduces the third love interest to Hunterโs harem and can I say. WOW. Kabir was THE MAN. I loved the back and forth between him and Hunter and the others but it was the utter devotion he had for her that did it for me. The dynamic him and Hunter had set the stage for all the heat in this book and wowza was it HAWT! I adored the trust she had with Kabir and really loved how he put everything aside for her. His arrival also provided just enough oomf in this book to upset the rocky balance she had with Levi and Greedy which I found entertaining.
So Real is another emotional rollercoaster of a book and Hunterโs story is heartbreaking. The way we flip between past and present was a fine line that Abby did wonderful with but also left me reeling as we learn things from the past and how it is still affecting her. Add in the selfish mother Hunter has and the lovesick stepfather and her struggles become next level. I found the mother to be the most conniving in this book so far and am anxious to see how Hunter handles the dilemma she is put in, in the next book. One thing I was there for was the way Greedy and Levi stood up for her in front of Greedyโs father and Hunterโs mother.
This book ends on a nicer cliffhanger than we are used to from Abby but still leaves us curious about this fourth mystery man who may join the group. I also loved how Abby gave us a tiny cameo of Joey and her men in this one and hope we get more in the next book!

Review: So Real was great reading but the full cast narration truly brought this book to excellent. Abby brought on board a group of phenomenal narrators to bring Hunter and her men to life. This whole crew of narrators encompassed every feeling and every UP and DOWN inside this book and made me fall in love with HUnterโs journey all over again. So Real was the book that kept me up with a gambit of emotional angst and it is safe to say that the audio version kept me up that much more.
The way June was able to embody Hunter thought was that captivated me in this audiobook. She was truly able to bring Hunter to life in my ears and I felt like I was there witnessing the action throughout the audiobook - especially in some of the more intense and emotional scenes. While all the narrators was fantastic June was the one that sold me in this story and Abby truly did wonders with the production of So Real in audio form!

Review: Boss Man was a 5 star romance read for me as well as a super angsty and heated workplace romance by Vi Keeland! From the first meet cute Reese and Chase have a palpable chemistry and burning tension but underneath the heat we begin to see how they each are a little broken and a little tortured about events in their pasts and families. Vi really tugged at the heart strings with Chaseโs past and I loved every minute of him unraveling as Reese catapults into his life.
Reese and Chase were a conundrum for your typical office romance and one thing Vi knows how to do is amp up the tension. The pull we see them both resist at first provides just enough tension for us to love the connection they have but also pull our hair out about how they have barriers preventing the other getting too close. I loved how Chase was the one who shoved his way into Reeseโs life at first with his cocky billionaire persona but also was down to earth and more homey than I expected when we meet him again. Reese was also an FMC who had many layers that added to her story and the romance. Vi broke her walls down in ways that showed us the woman underneath the heels who just wanted her HEA but also would not take anyone keeping her down.
While I love the romance between these two what really got to me was their friendship. Reese and Chase have an astoundingly beautiful friendship that was EVERYTHING in this book. I loved how Reese was there for Chase through thick and thin and was supportive about the ghosts of his pasts but also enjoyed how Chase brought out a side of Reese that others didnโt see. Some of my favorite scenes in the book were ones where the two of them were just hanging out and enjoying each others company.
Boss Man is a read that deserves a standing ovation and Vi Keeland knocked it out of the park with the whole plot of this book. Chase Parker is one of the sexy bosses of book boyfriends in 2024 and I cannot wait to see what comes next!
Rating: 5/5; Boss Man is your next workplace romance obsession and I am not ready to say bye to Chase Parker!

The way Maxine and Joe bounced off one another and grew the tension and emotions between Reese and Chase as the story developed. Review: ๐ณ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐๐๐ is another winner from Brooklyn cross. This novella had the perfect blend of Sleepy Hollow vibes and just flat out spooky season feelings. Izzy is a fierce FMC who is a little naive and innocent but also bada$$ and super quirky. Brooklyn was able to adapt her character in ways that kept me guessing what she would say or do next as the small town is terrorized by the Headless Horseman attacks. I found her infatuation with the local detective and long time friend of hers to also fit wonderfully with her character as the book began heating up and the tension escalates.
๐ณ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐๐๐ is a super quick and spicy read that left me wanting more of the world this story is set in but also guessing my sanity after finishing. Brooklyn once again put me through the wringer guessing who the Headless Horseman would be and I can honestly say I never saw the true identity coming. The k!nks and smut in this book left me questioning what is acceptable and made me second guess the PSL coffees we all love in the fall and I can only hope she stays away from my Peppermint Mochas!
๐ณ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐๐๐ is the perfect dark romance novella for spooky season but is also fitting for anyone who enjoyed a quick, suspenseful romance full of smut! Stay tuned for more (possibly!)
Rating: 5/5; A spooky, spicy and morally questionable dark romance perfect for Sleepy Hollow fans!
Thank you to Brooklyn for sending me this eARC!

Review: ๐ญ๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ was EVERYTHING!! This book was such a bittersweet goodbye and J. Rose once again obliterated my heart, my mind and my soul with the culmination of Ripleyโs story. The way J. Rose was able to craft the suspense and mystery surrounding the guys and also surrounding Ripley and her time at Harrowdean Manor while also exposing so many details had me riveted right up until the last page and I completely lost it when the final twist of events occurred leading up to her HEA.
๐ญ๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ is DARK. I thought book one was dark but this book took the cake. Ripley and her men are up against the worst of the worst but the family they find in each other provides just enough of a glimpse of light that it pushes them through. The bonds we truly began to see in this book between them all show just how broken each of them was on their own but how they each softened the edges of each otherโs broken piecesโฆif only minimally. I felt like this was also a HIGE step for Ripley since she is more of a lone wolf and an instigator all throughout the story.
Lennox and Raine truly became my favorite characters in this story. The way these two overcame their trauma to push Ripley into her HEA melted my cold, black heart. I loved how they allowed her to see their darkest parts but also how they broke her walls down alongside Xander to see the scared girl she hid from everyone else. ๐ญ๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ had a different vibe compared to the other interconnected books and I really enjoyed the way J. Rose was able to balance all the darkness in the story and within in the characters to show how beautiful the pieces of light in their POVs was.
๐ญ๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ was the finale of the Harrowdean Manor duet and I am still not over the ride it put me on. I would love to continue to see spinoffs and interconnected casts of characters or maybe a novella with all the FMCs causing chaos. This book truly added the spiked cherry on top of the sundae to the crazy dark world J. Rose has created and I can only hope Ripley and her men pop up again!
Rating: 100+,

Review: Bella really blew my mind with the way she delivered Leo Sinclairโs story. ๐ธ๐๐๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐๐ was absolute perfection. From start to finish this book was both enticing and captivating. Leo and Adelaide warmed my heart and the way Bella brought out Leoโs alpha side and his swoon side kept me turning the pages until I saw his HEA! I wasnโt sure if anything would be able to top Callen or Nixon but ๐ธ๐๐๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐๐ sure brought up the angst and heat to be one of the best books within the second generation and among Bellaโs complete interconnected universe itself!
Leo Sinclair. GAHHH!! This man is a girl dad. I have no words for how hard this man falls for his โfake wifeโ and her children. Bella took my breath away with the devotion she was able to put into his character and I loved seeing the man who was always the jerk or the jokester finally get his chance to step up and prove how golden he truly was. The love he developed for Adelaide fit along with the Sinclair family modo perfectly but also had itโs own twists since someone really special had to push him off the path he had created for himself with being less serious and not ready to settle down. I also ADORED the bonds he had with her two daughters, Izzy and Lennox.
Adelaide was also a breath of fresh air and a new face for us. Seeing her love for her children and the way she protected what was her FIERCELY was part of what drew me in so hard to her story. Bella was able to tackle the ups and downs in her story in a way that truly tugged on the heart and watching her finally get the HEA she deserved was both satisfying and bittersweet since I was not ready to say bye to her, the kids and Leo. Bella also tackled some themes that may be triggering to some readers within Addieโs story and the way she brought them up and entertained them within Addieโs POV and within her character was beautiful to watch. It was also done in a way that read true to the horrors Addie had faced and was continuing to face as she fought for her daughters!
๐ธ๐๐๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐๐ was truly perfection for Leo, Addie, Izzy and Lennox and I cannot wait to see them more in future books. Bella showed us a side of other second generation children in this book we had not seen as much of before and I am so excited for more to come! ๐ธ๐๐๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐๐ was hands down a book impossible to rate since it was everything and more of what I wanted!
Rating: 100+, Leo Sinclair was everything I didnโt know I needed for this holiday season and Bella really outdid herself on his story!

Review: ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐น has been the book I and everyone else who read the Wildcat Hockey series has been waiting for and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Rebecca brought us the one and ONLY Jack Wyld in this book and I may have found my favorite Rebecca Jenshak book boyfriend to date. From start to end this man dominated and destroyed me in the best ways as he fell hard for little Everly, who is not so little anymore!
Jack was everything I didnโt know I needed in this book. From the start to the end the way Rebecca showed his evolving love for Everly to the conflicting emotions he had for falling for a teammateโs little sister, I was HOOKED! Rebecca was able to give us a broody, stoic, cares for everyone but refuses to ask for help hockey MMC that broke my heart but also healed it while reading and no words can express how deep I fell into his orbit! The emotions he had to navigate while he began seeing Everly as more than Tylerโs little sister were EPIC and SWOON worthy but also were done in a way that made you understand why he held back. I found his fear of falling for her hard and fast to be my favorite aspect of his story and loved seeing it play out!
Everly was a breath of fresh air and her story was really the glue in this book. Everything about her screamed โwoman finding her wayโ and Rebecca mastered the vulnerabilities and insecurities in her POV. The way her crush developed into a full blow love for Jack had me in the feel since the banter between them sparked fire every time they were in the same room. I found the way she took it upon herself to care for him when he tried turning her away while injured to be the centerpiece to their romance and I really enjoyed the way she LOVED to push his buttons and irritate him to get a response. Rebecca was able to capture the fiery personality Everly had while also making her fears real and relevant. The way she matured in this book while also learning to own up to her goals was EVERYTHING (even if it resulted in a third-act break-up!)
๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐น brought the enemy to lover vibes from the first page and their banter was truly some of the best and angstiest from Rebecca ever! The way these two fed off the other in terms of wit, sarcasm, attitude and lust resulted in one of the best forbidden, hockey romances I have read this year! ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐น blew all my expectations to dust and also introduced my next anxiously awaited MMC, Nick Galaxy!
Rating: 100+; Rebecca saved the best for (almost?) last and ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐น will always be the book that did me all because of Jack!
