Amira and Daindreth are one step closer to saving the kingdom. Finally together and their scenes were so sweet.

Thadred is one of the best side characters I’ve read. His and Sair’s relationship is slowly building in this book. Even if they don’t end up together, it’s nice to see that friendship.

I’m definitely curious to see how the series will wrap up in the next book.

I am really enjoying this series. Amira and Daindreth’s journey is filled with trials, but they remain steadfast with each other, never doubting. Hopefully that stays true through the remainder of the series, it’s nice to read.

Thadred’s story is just as entrancing to me as Amira and Dain’s. I can’t wait to read his book!

The twists and turns with the plot are fun to keep up with. There isn’t really a cliffhanger, but I am still left with that questioning feeling, what is going to happen next? Can’t wait to read book 4!

This was a wild ride, for sure. Sophie’s exasperation over Soren’s actions were felt through the pages. Falling love with a serial killer, indeed! I did kinda want to find out what happened next, too, but it was a fun novella to wrap up the year with!

Quick yet good read. We’ve got the insta-lust coupled with the denial fight, and I enjoyed the read! My only wish was that it was a full-length, more in-depth novel!

Spicy and cute read!

Kara is down on her luck, trying to pay back her brother’s debt. Until she loses her job and the loan shark demands more money.

Vincent takes one look at her and knows she’s his. I loved that he was a soft and caring person but only for her. This novella has the mob feel without the whole dark mafia story aspect. Fast paced, but you don’t feel as if you’re missing anything. The conclusion of their story perfectly portrays their growth, especially given that this is a short story.

Good progression to the story! I was worried things were going to get rushed when I was 70% though and events hadn’t happened yet.

This does wrap up nicely but as I saw from the end of the book, there will be a fourth book. There are a couple loose ends still that I’m sure will be addressed in the next, but I do appreciate this not leaving off on a cliffhanger lol.

There are a few minor spelling or grammar errors and very slight plot inconsistency/repetition a couple times but it didn’t deter me from reading. Fun cozy fantasy series!

I will start this off by saying that I was hesitant to get in to this as the last MQ book I read, I really didn’t enjoy. So while I was hoping to enjoy this, I also wasn’t setting myself up for disappointment if I didn’t.

All in all, this wasn’t a bad book. Just not a great one for me. The poems starting the chapters and occasional narrator breaks took some getting used to, and I know it was intentional due to the book being 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘢𝘴-esque.

I did find the multitude of winter, Christmas, and movie themed names and puns a lot cheesy and a little bit cringey.

I pushed myself to finish this, not to the point where I was regretting reading, but more so I could finish it before the new year lol.

This one is pretty sweet, too! Freelance artists living in the same building, crushing on each other, and due to a tiny misunderstanding, they had essentially been waiting for the other to show interest.

Short and sweet Christmas novellas really help getting in the holiday spirit. Merry Christmas! 🎄

This is so far the sweetest of the stories in the collection.  But it could also be because I adore firefighter/damsel in distress romances. They’re generally cute and wholesome.

I am still finding it hilarious though that Everleigh’s last name is Dangerfield. 😂

This one felt a little cheesier than the first two books in this collection.

Also. My husband’s name is William. Stop it. 😂

Stuck together in a snow storm on Christmas Eve, Nina and William finally work up the courage to tell each other how they feel. Time to share body heat!

Low rating not because it was bad… just cheesy and the puns were cringey lol. I also don’t feel like I’ll be rereading these, my lower ratings can also indicate “one and done” status.
