I will start this off by saying that I was hesitant to get in to this as the last MQ book I read, I really didn’t enjoy. So while I was hoping to enjoy this, I also wasn’t setting myself up for disappointment if I didn’t.
All in all, this wasn’t a bad book. Just not a great one for me. The poems starting the chapters and occasional narrator breaks took some getting used to, and I know it was intentional due to the book being 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘢𝘴-esque.
I did find the multitude of winter, Christmas, and movie themed names and puns a lot cheesy and a little bit cringey.
I pushed myself to finish this, not to the point where I was regretting reading, but more so I could finish it before the new year lol.
