10/10 obviously

I've decided I'll probably never be able to properly write my feelings about this story! For every thing I hate about it there's something that I enjoyed. Closer to a 3.5 stars in my experience, but I rounded up to a 4 because it was still beautifully written.

I would highly recommend anyone who's struggled with self harm/suicidal ideation stay far far far away from this book, due to Jude's chapters where he tends to romanticize his struggles with these.

The characters and lives they lead in this book felt so real. Along with Sally Rooney's extremely accurate description of emotions that feel familiar and real.. this story had a tight grip on me. Could not put it down.
