i finished this book in early july, but never made a review. i definitely took my time reflecting on this novel because i was so surprised. words could not describe my
complete and utter shock once i finished this book.

it is now late august, and looking back, i have so many things to say. this was, by far, the greatest book by Vega. and i won’t lie, i was extremely hesitant to read this book because i wasn’t a huge fan of the first two.

i loved brooklyn’s point of view, and preferred it over sophia’s. the whole cult setting was utterly captivating and i appreciated the change of scenery. rather than an over abundance of catholicism, we were presented with a much more suspenseful and twisty story, which i greatly appreciated.

i would definitely recommend this book!

honestly, i was a little disappointed with this book. don’t get me wrong, sam is such a fun character, but the plot line didn’t meet my expectations.

Grant has an interesting writing style, but the story was a little too predictable.

this book, much like the first, was a little anticlimactic. nonetheless, Grant has his magical ways of making his stories beautiful.

i initially decided that i wasn’t going to finish this book, but me being me, i had to find out who the killer was. Amelia Anne Is Dead And Gone was definitely interesting, to say the least. the majority of the book was quite repetitive, it felt as if i was reading the same chapter over and over again, but the last few chapters sealed the fate of this book.

it’s been quite some time since i read this book, but no need to fear, ive finally decided to leave a short, very blatant review.

holding up the universe cannot compare to all the bright places. don’t get your hopes up with this one, ladies and gents.
