Ex-boyfriends father romances are honestly kinda hot, and this one was no different. Emerson Grant made me swoon. I loved his dominance and it honestly made me open my eyes in surprise at moments. Emerson was such a sweetheart. I loved his care for Charlie and his son. But I wish that he was a little more strong willed. I think he went to emotionally with his way of thinking instead of logically.

Charlie was definitely great. I love how she was so strong willed and kept trying to keep her ex boyfriend away from her romantically, but all while trying to make sure not to shatter his heart because of her love for Emerson. I know she could’ve done more for him but I think that she was too enamored with Emerson and too much in love with her new life

Georgia Reynolds is honestly a new favorite fmc for me. She was so strong, but honestly I related so much to her. She made so much sense to me and made me understand myself just a little. Shes the youngest sister, I am the youngest of all my female cousins. And the way she try’s to prove herself wss great.

Maddox was the best grumpy sunshine mmc that I’ve had in awhile. He was such a brooding billionaire and it was funny honestly. I love how much growth he had in the book and honestly his love for Georgia was so sweet. I loved it so much. It made me wanna cry if I’m honest haha.

This book reminded me a lot of Elsie silver’s writing and I love her a lot, so I definitely loved this one a lot

This book was a mind fuck. I honestly thought it was on KU (it isn’t but i don’t remember buying it lol). But it was so good. I honestly can’t say anything other than the fact that this made my brain hurt. Trying to figure out who the murderer was, just to figure out who it was, MADE ME WANNA THROW MY PHONE

Rachel definitely had the most growth out of all of the characters. I loved her a lot, she was so relatable and was honestly the only character other than the uncooperative goalie, Mars that I felt like made some sense. I will say I do think that Rachel was selfish in the beginning. The whole relationship secret stuff made me mad, but only because of her reasons.

Jake, Mars, and Caleb are all three SO drastically different, but all so loving and it definitely shows that you can get different love, to fulfill all your needed love. But I didn’t like Jake and Caleb’s relationship line. I felt like it wasn’t really explained or explored much and it felt almost unfair to them. I will say I wasn’t expecting the MM romance, but I’m also bad about reading spoilers and the synopsis bc I hate doing that. But on that note, I did like the MM romance, it isn’t the first time I read it so it wasn’t bad and I wasn’t upset about it.

I do think the plot kind of got lost throughout the novel, but there is 700+ pages and it was hard for me to keep the plot straight through all the spice

This book hurt me, but felt so good at the same time. This book felt like it was a heartbreak waiting to happen, and it was.

Winter, god I love her. I feel for her, I almost relate to her in a way. It’s strange, but I loved her more than anyone. And the way she is towards her husband/ex husband is great and I loved it.
She had so much growth in just 18 months and omg I loved mama winter

Theo Silva. OMG. I definitely need more bull rider romances bc this one and the first book in the series, Flawless,  made a HUGE impression on me. Theo Silva definitely stepped up in ways I didn’t know were possible and I loved it. He is such daddy material, the baby dad type you dirty ladies😉. And god he is such a hottie.
