It took me awhile to get in to this one and that might be because it started off pretty slow. Almost half the book was set in modern day, which was alot more than I was expecting. The first half also kind of felt like a training montage which I found kind of boring and unnecessary. Once we got to the Viking times I enjoyed the characters but I didn't feel very convinced by the relationship - I feel like they didn't build enough before getting together. I would have liked to get more of the lore and world-building as well. I don't think I will be continuing the rest of the series. I just wasn't invested enough by the end.

I've liked everything Ali Hazelwood has done and this was no exception. The premise was fun, all the characters were great, and I really liked their relationship. Miscommunication usually bothers me but this one wasn't too bad. It was a really well plotted novella and didn't feel too rushed - it was a great length with enough information to be interesting but didn't leave anything unfinished.

Definitely the best of the series! I really like the characters and the relationship. Their back story was great and I liked the way it was told through out the story. I think this was the only one that really felt complete and not rushed or cut off. 

It was cute and I liked the concept of the mishap meet cutes but it felt a little too insta love for such a short story

Definitely my favourite so far! It was really sweet and the plot of this one actually fit well for a short story. I liked his persistent crush and leaving the little gifts and she felt a little more fleshed out than some of the other stories. 

It was ok. 

If I have to hear about how big and manly and giant and huge this guy is one more time. 

I like some weird shit but this was too much for me. I hated the way she talked about their size difference 😩 and why was in love with her after like one proper conversation 😭

AND ALSO why are you putting a five month old in a bike seat!! That child can not hold its head up
