A classic Tessa Bailey; fast paced and character filled.

Elise is a budding journalist investigating a corruption story for none other than Gotham Times. While out scouting she runs in to three โ€˜gentleโ€™ man whom she is instantly attracted too, and they are also.
An uptight rugby coach, a construction worker and a former adult film star she pretends not to recognise a little too well.

I enjoyed this and read it in one day!

Book two in the Assistant to the Villain series, this continues the adventures of Evie Sage and the Villain. Picking straight up from the previous books. I was caught up in the story from page one.

There is something about Maehrerโ€™s writing that really brings you in to the world and makes you love these characters (even with their flaws).

We learn more about the world of Rennedawn and the prophesy that all are trying to complete before all the magic is gone.

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

This books ability to draw the reading in is beyond imaginable. Bardugoโ€™s world building, character development and plot twists are some of the best in my reading history. You instantly fall in love with the characters and understand their motives, along with their decisions. I would compare this to A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas in terms of plot twists, romance and character intricacies. Itโ€™s a must read!
