It started off a little slow and confusing but it quickly found its feet. I loved this! I love the twists and turns.

Not as good as the second book but still good. Loved this series. The ending felt a little lacklustre somehow…? I don’t know. I feel like it could have been written a little punchier. But it was lovely watching Evangeline fall in love with Jacks again. So sweet.

Spectacular. Give me 14 of them right now.

The second half is better but still such a good book. The ending is crazy and I love it and i can’t wait to see Jacks fight for her ❤️

Eh, it’s similar to the Taryn novella. You could easily miss this one. But it was semi interesting to read about scenes from Cardan’s perspective.

Look, it’s no pulitzer prize winner but the build up had me kicking my feet.

Love love love. I will say the incorporation of the accent in the writing style was not my favourite. It just felt like there were grammar issues. That being said, I loved the tropes: enemies to lovers, found family, grumpy vs sunshine. It’s just a silly, feel good book and super easy to read. I loved the characters. I thought Johnathan’s grumpiness maybe lasted a little too long but the softening up of his character and ending was so sweet.

The ending was good, like the last 30 pages. I felt it dragged a bit in the last quarter or so, going over the same will she stay, won’t she stay dilemma. But overall, I like it. I like the world and the premise. I wish there was more about the dragons.
