Kenzie was just such a sweetie! Albeit a major brat but still a sweetie. Every little thing he did (pun definitely intended) was just so incredibly cute and lovable. And Talon, the way this man was equal parts patient and clueless about EVERYTHING going on in the town was just so hilarious. He just went along with it, and you know what? It's a win win situation because he ended up with an adorable boyfriend!

The pure poeticness of the words that the MMC's use to describe each other in this book?? Masterpiece. This is without a doubt a story that gets you to stop and think about your emotions and just how much they can actually affect you, whether it's intentional or not. And Jayce and Namid couldn't be more opposite, but they work. Dear Lord, do they work so well. I absolutely LOVED every interaction that they had together, and I honestly did not want to put this book down.

The Foxily family is back and expandingggg!! I swear I can never get tired of this family (please adopt me). They are so absolutely chaotic, but they stand by each other through ANYTHING. Don't even get me started on the cameos that we get in this book! All of my favorite characters making an appearance had me looking crazy, just smiling at my screen. How can you not love a family that's ready to kill for you??

can we just applaud Cody for feeding us an u expected TWIST?!

This is absolutely PERFECT for people who are looking for a shifter romance where the MC is just so unserious and extremely loveable! Jethro was such a red flag, but I was here for it ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿšฉ. There was such high heat and a good amount of insta lust, with the addition of cameos from the other Murder Sprees and Mute Decrees books!

I loved Karsyn and Claude in the first two book so when I saw that they were the main characters in the third book I just couldn't wait!! But when Claude ripped a door off it's hinges because he was so excited to spend an EVENING with Alexei, I knew this book was going to be a favorite. The whole banter and the push and pull between them was just amazing ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

Absolutely love Marcus and Finn, but this definitely is the kind of book where I loved the side characters a whole lot more than the main characters ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

The way I absolutely DEVOURED this book in one day is just crazy.

Mia was feeding us ANGST throughout this entire book. The whole push and pull dynamic between Kirill and Yarik was just so beautifully written! It was raw, passionate, and so vivid (I swear it was like watching a movie). I loved both of these characters, from the first chapter all the way to the last, and I just completely lost myself in their story. The absolute YEARNING that was written in this book just goes unmatched.

And the gasp I gusped when I found out that this book was a HFN instead of HEA, with an absolutely INSANE cliffhanger?!

This book is absolutely perfect for people looking for a Mafia romance that doesn't have super dark themes and no grocery list of triggers.

The way Chai was so obsessed with Leo after meeting him once?! And the way Leo is so possessive of Chai throughout the entire book, yummy. I absolutely NEED all of that in my life right now, phew. The way we slowly see these two guys crashing head over heels in love with each other is absolutely everything. You got a Mafia setting with a dash of mystery all wrapped up with a double bi awakening and a couple of dorks; what more could you ask for??.

Thought I would take a break from contemporary and switch over to a little fantasy, and let me tell you, this book was surprising good! We have Finn, who is a human, working with Marcus, who is a vampire. Honestly, this book had so many great things in itโ€”mystery and a cliffhanger, which did make it a HFN ending. Finn does have prosthetics, but he's so resilient with everything, and it doesn't slow him down, which I thought was really well written. Then we have Marcus, who gets all possessive when he SWEARS he hates Finn's entire being (yeah, right).
