King and Queen by Maz Maddox

I absolutely loved Blaise—he was such a little spitfire, and the way he carried himself throughout this whole book deserves applause. So many things went wrong for him for a good chunk of the story, but the way he defended himself and turned practically anything into a weapon was hilarious. Royal bring there to back him up and basically keep him around just because he loved how much of a chaotic mess Blaise was? That just made their dynamic even better. By the halfway point, I needed them to confess their feelings because, let me be so honest—they just worked together so well.

Well, you know what they say… fake husbands who are forced onto a boat in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean really do stay together 🙂↕️.
No, but seriously—every time Baha and Jackson hurled insults at each other, I was just there giggling and kicking my feet because the tension was TENSIONING. Baha was 100% the embodiment of grumpy—but deep down, he was such a softy—and every single time Jackson did something to rile him up just because he liked him grumpy… yeah, that did something to me. Jackson had that cocky, effortless charm, but really that made him perfect because he was the only one who could match Baha’s stubbornness and push all his buttons in JUST the right way that had Baha being so protective over him.
I truthfully think my standards have been raise by a million percent.

Paxton was so dramatically adorable, and his fascination with the science behind everything in such a magical town was hilarious. The way he treated everything Fraser did as an experiment—complete with hypotheses, theses, and note-taking—was such a creative way for a sub to learn the roles in a new relationship. And Fraser? The fact that he tried so hard to keep up with Paxton's endless questions and wild train of thought just proved they were the perfect match! Because let’s be so for real—Paxton’s mind was ALWAYS working overtime, but Fraser somehow always had the answers.

Thought the beginning was fairly good, but as it got towards the middle I lost interest

Okay, I have to admit—every little thing Avery did for Ben had me swooning. The way he’d always make Ben’s coffee just the way he liked it or buy him presents just because he thought Ben deserved them was adorable. And the fact that he was the one person who truly made Ben feel heard had me smiling the whole time. Ben's internal monologues were definitely another highlight! They were so funny, and getting a glimpse of what he thought versus what he actually said was so much fun.
I wasn’t expecting the plot to have so much drama, but it definitely kept things interesting. That said, there was a part where I found myself wondering why neither character just openly communicated about what was bothering them (because they were old enough to do that). Some of the dialogue also felt a little unnatural at times, but overall, it was still a good story.

I think this might be my favorite dino shifter romance yet! It was so interesting to see how Maz wrote each RELIC member and their corresponding dinosaur. Dalton was absolutely chaotic, and Simon was such a cutie—and those were pretty much my only two thoughts the entire time. The plot moved fast, but the action and their hilarious internal monologues kept me hooked.
While, yes, their feelings developed quickly, it was honestly adorable seeing how much Dalton (in both his forms) adored Simon. And despite only knowing each other for a short time, their strong instinct to protect one another made their connection even sweeter.

Save The Vampire by Maz Maddox

Oh my God, this book. It had everything—action, humor, and a jaw-dropping plot! Maz was absolutely feeding us.
Seeing the development of Sias, Dallas, and Zane’s relationship over the first two books and watching it all come together in this one? Perfection. Every time Sias got overprotective of Dallas—and Zane—it just showed how deeply he cared for both of them. But Dallas finally getting his dream of having both his incubus and his vampire in an actual relationship? Easily one of my favorite parts. After everything he went through, he DESERVED that happiness. I just KNEW the chemistry between the three of them would be off the charts (and I loved being right). I devoured every character interaction, and the development some characters went through was executed perfectly.
Sure, they all had their iconic idiotic moments, but I loved them all the same.
The Prince and His Stolen Groom by J.E. Ridge
Okay, Franny trying to set her brother up with the prince—who, mind you, is supposed to be marrying her—while she falls for the person pretending to be the prince? Absolute perfection! Yes, there was a lot of back and forth, especially since we got POVs from pretty much every character, but I thought it made the plot even more exciting to follow. Trying to figure out just what was going to happen next kept me completely hooked.
Hands down, I loved Rick. Did he make a lot of questionable choices throughout the book? Yes, he did. But somehow, everything worked out for him—and literally everyone he came in contact with—so I’d call that a win-win.

Fairly cute! Edin and Hunter really came a long way from hating each other to slowly but surely falling in love, and it was adorable seeing how protective they BOTH got over each other from time to time. Edin, this massive golden-retriever-ish monster, was so sweet, and the way he showed his absolute love for everything revolving around Hunter was downright heart-melting. I really admired Hunter—yes, he might've seemed a bit assh*ley at first, but the way he brought a sense of calm to Edin without even trying was kind of touching.
