King and Queen by Maz Maddox

4.5

I absolutely loved Blaise—he was such a little spitfire, and the way he carried himself throughout this whole book deserves applause. So many things went wrong for him for a good chunk of the story, but the way he defended himself and turned practically anything into a weapon was hilarious. Royal bring there to back him up and basically keep him around just because he loved how much of a chaotic mess Blaise was? That just made their dynamic even better. By the halfway point, I needed them to confess their feelings because, let me be so honest—they just worked together so well.
