Reads like a savory dessert. Animal life re-examined in de-extinction, and freaky deaky implications to boot

Reads like a classic, whatever that means. A sweet slice of COVID life, getting away with this because we are living two lives in the tale. Excellent on audio (ok meryl???)

Sweet sweet sweeping science fiction. I hope the next books live up. Writing style is hard to gauge with translation but the characters are overall well-fleshed out and the plot is cooking!!! IMO if you are intimidated by the nitty-gritty science you can always just read it as plot instead of anything truly technical .....

Plot gets twisted around itself one too many times for me. Certainly some good moments just overall cohesiveness missing to me

Informative and reflective on the extended history of Palestinian conflict with Zionism, with plenty of notes on what has been ineffective for the Palestinian cause. Dense with names of all the political troupe, worth a re-read

Lots of good work in here to tear down preconceived notions of what sex should be, will revisit hardcopy to do the reflective work more thoughtfully
