Alternatively cynical and idealistic essays. Her actual opinions of the queer community were by far my favorite part of the book (part 2)

Enough cigarettes were smoked for all lesbians living, dead, and unborn. An all-time age-gap story... one I will revisit and think about the lost and found world described within

A book that does not want to be pitied and tells truths without trying too hard to squeeze out every ounce of meaning. Grief does not always do well under a microscope and this book does justice to that reality while just telling a story too

The science and technology philosophy of this story was better developed than the plot imo ... some of the moments of discovery felt a little flat to me compared to the density of the ethical questions. But ray gotta get his kicks from something i guess
