This Book Will Bury Me is my new favorite Ashley Winstead! It captured the amateur true crime culture and had me hooked!

I loved the mixed media and true crime chatrooms that had me flying through this book! Following Janeway, after losing her father suddenly, she turns to true crime chatrooms to help distract her from her grief. Janeway and her found family of other amateur true crime investigators, solve some of the biggest crime to date!

I loved Ashley Winstead books! I will be recommending this to anyone who loves a thriller with a true crime spin. I can’t wait to read whatever Winstead writes next!

Show Don't Tell by Curtis Sittenfeld

I was very excited to receive an early copy of Show Don’t Tell by Curtis Sittenfeld. Show Don’t Tell is a collection of short stories that are both thought provoking and capture a snapshot of life.

While Sittenfeld is one of my favorites writers, I am usually a bit hesitant to pick up a collection of short stories. To no surprise, each story felt complete and captured the perfect snapshot of a a brief time in life. Both relatable and reflective. I was excited to read the final story Lost But Not Forgotten— a story about Lee, the main character from my first Curtis Sittenfeld book, Prep, which I read almost twenty years ago!

As always, I’ll be first in line to recommend anything Sittenfeld writes. Her novels (and short stories) stick with me. I look forward to what she writes next.

What If I Never Get Over You by Paige Toon is a romance full of depth and emotion.

In true Paige Toon style this book has all the feels: cheering on the main characters, falling in love, anger, and having your heart ripped out again and again.

I absolutely adore Paige Toon’s writing and her ability to make you feel for the characters she’s created. I absolutely will be recovering What if I Never Get Over You when it releases in April. I’ll be first in line for anything Paige Toon writes next.
