I loved these two and the concept and the story, but I felt like the “dark” aspect wasn’t handled as well as maybe it should have? I don’t know? 

Like when it comes out that max was raped as a teenager, it felt like it was just glossed over? And when Lucas dead wife and son was brought up it was just mentioned and yeah it was five years ago but you don’t see him talk about them much or even think about them and not because it’s ’too Painful’

The “dark” romance of this dark romance seemed like it was thrown in as an afterthought and not really planned out for the story. If you cut it all out, the plot would have almost still have been the same. 

This was without a doubt the best one in the series so far. Holly is so adorably unhinged. I always forget how much I love a psycho FMC. Fitz is such a cinnamon roll and the scene where he wakes up from the dream??? 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 NOW THAT IS SPICE  
Fitz is such a monster fucker and his straight up disappointment when holly is in her human form had me cackling!!! I love these two and I just want to see more of them and read more about them. 

I’m an idiot bc this is apart of the Rayne universe and I’m just reading out of order. But I’m keeping it up to show my stupidity lol. So apologies lol. 

This was a lot better than the first one in the sense that he didn’t pee on anything lol. The first bit is so hard to read just bc you really feel for Mickey. She’s been through so much and she’s so strong. I love Rhett but most of all I LOVE FITZ I can’t wait to read his book omg. 
Rhett has more humanity and a bit more sense. Also the period blood sex?? I high key love that shit. Sign me up. Rhett is a man who isn’t afraid to get a little dirty and we love that.

I’m not sure how to feel about this lol. I liked a good bit of this but there were some big parts I also had a lot of issues with. 
This is a D A R K romance first and foremost. The issues I have are not the fact that this is a dark romance. Content and tws are noted in the book. What I have a problem with is HIM PEEING IN HER PERFUME BOTTLE!!!!!!!!!  E X C U S E M O I ????????? No maam. Hard pass. Your doggy monster ass is dumped. And the fact this bitch liked it???? Sprayed it all over her bed and ROLLED IN IT??????

I get the point of this too was there wasn’t a lot of info about what Creed was because he was an experiment, and maybe this is all in the January Rayne universe I don’t know but there were a lot of questions like who are the devil harvesters? What are all these scientists doing in this town? Do people know about paranormals? It’s only the first book so like assuming we’ll know more about what’s going on but a lot was glazed over but it didn’t feel like it was glazed over intentionally if you know what I mean. BUT I am interested to read more in this series. I just hope the peeing is at a minimum. 

We love a good twister moment. I just wanna know how accurate them surviving an actual tornado is though
