The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Saw the movie first and I loved it. Read the book then, I fell in love even more. The Little Prince has touched me in a special way. The characters, metaphors, and the meaning behind all of it make me think deeply and I really wish I could go back to my childhood to cherish it more. It hit me right in the feels when the book comes to an end. It amazed me the most when I read Antoine's short biography on the last page. He had a brilliant mind and a very unique way to bring his story to the words.
"All men have the stars," he answered, "but they are not the same things for different people. For some, who are travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. For others, who are scholars, they are problems. For my businessman they were wealth. But all these stars are silent. You–you alone–will have the stars as no one else has them."

Simply amusing. I couldn't put it down. Alice, Millie, and Jeremy felt like a real character that I started to question: is this story real? I probably would love it more if I read it when I was a kid. But still, I loved it! A great children story.
