I can believe it took me so long to read these. They're the perfect wholesome pick me up, but they also deal with serious subjects too.

I wish I'd had something like this growing up, I think I would have felt less alone.

I forgot a lot of plot points after I read this, BUT the feeling the characters gave me stayed. That's really special.

I loved the characters in this book so so much. I literally couldn't pick a favorite. Even though it was a shorter book, the world felt so real and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm always down for a mismatch cast of characters going on a long journey to do a thing that is probably going to go terribly

I was not expecting to like this book as much as I did. I know CoHo Is a super polarizing author, but two of my closest friends absolutely loved this book and with the movie coming out I decided to give it a shot.

I feel like this is written from the heart, sometimes it was tough to get through and after the first chapter I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about it. But something just clicked and I ended up really enjoying it.

I love the fact that Lily didn't have to be rescued by Atlas, They found each other again when the time was right and it made me ugly cry

I would absolutely check trigger warnings before reading this book though, I had a vague idea of what it depicted but there was one chapter that I had to walk away from for a little bit.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 8%.
I liked the idea but I had a hard time with the way it was written.

I feel like the author did a lot of telling and not showing. Instead of showing how Cress was uncomfy with how humans label and gender things, the author slides in a little rant about it.

Just not my vibe 🫤

I really loved Butcher & Blackbird and I was SUPER EXCITED to read this one (I may or may not have counted down to release day) I've loved Lachlan's vibe since he was introduced in B&B. Brynne Weaver comes up with some of the most creative and funnny little things. Some of them had me laughing even when I wasn't reading. I liked watching Lark and Lachlan grow together. I personally don't mind insta-love all the much, but I really liked watching them fall. This book wasn't as spicy, or murdery as I expected, but I had a good time regardless. I think the twists a the slightest bit on the predictable side, but that doesn't bother me. 💕 I'm looking forward to Scythe and Sparrow!!
