I picked this book up on a whim cause it sounded interesting.

It was wonderful, the writing was beautiful and pretty, and I was invested in Wren and Lewis's relationship.

I really enjoyed the piece of Angela's story we got too.

The ending was beautiful, I loved watching Wren grow

This was my favorite one in the series. I loved the characters and
The ACOTAR cameos

It kept a pace that I liked as well as giving each plot piece enough page time(?)

I cried a little at the end

I'm not sure if it's because the books are so long, but I found it hard to care at the very beginning.

The plot twists were interesting. Some I never saw coming. I managed to avoid spoilers for this series so that definitely helped.

Glad I don't have to wait for the next book to come out though. That ending was wild.

I might take a little break from this series but we'll see.

I didn't think that an essay collection could fill me with so much hope. One of the best things about this book is the way that it acknowledges the horrors of the world around us, but still encourages to have hope.

When I was reading Ilearned about things I didn't know about, but I also had such a sense of hope.

A feeling that everything is going to be okay. And that life is worth living.

I've started and stopped this book three times. The first 100-200 pages are a bit of a struggle to get through, but it was insanely worth it.

I adored Bryce and Hunt and their relationship. I feel like the little domestic moments they shared were like a little treat.

The main plot felt like it took a little bit to take off, BUT the twists were wild.
When they were finding out that Danika may have been doing so shady stuff WILD. Bryce unknowingly saving Micah? INSANE.

I felt a lot for these characters, and I grew really attached to them
Lehabah's death had me sobbing and that shit STILL HURTS

A vibe and a good time overall. Except for when our bestie Sarah was destroying my soul.

Shout out to the girl I stopped at B&N when House of Flame and Shadow released to ask her if it was worth it cause it was.

Some of the stories in this book were in the other although that made it kind of fun because I remembered them.

Detective Kenda writes and narrates in a way that makes you feel like you're talking to an old friend.

The story at the very end of the book was my absolute favorite of all time.

Finishing the book always feels like the end of a long conversation with an old friend that you're not quite ready to leave. I want this man to give me life advice. I find his perspective on things oddly comforting.

Tbh the only thing that keeps it from being lower is it's plot twist. This one is similar to burning bridge in the way that it spends pretty much most of it building up to a plot twist.

I don't really vibe with that but I'm going to keep reading lol.

I LOVED this book. I like true crime, but I hadn't read any true crime books. I'm from the area Joe Kenda was in charge of, and I really enjoyed hearing his stories.

The way he writes and narrates reminds me of sitting down with an old friend and hearing them tell stories to me.

Finishing this book, was the same feeling of spending time with an old friend, and then sadly realizing it's time to go and you may not see them for a while.

I'm absolutely going to read his other books, and keep watching the shows.

I was drawn to this book by the amazing cover. I broke a book buying ban to look for it (it was out of stock 😭)

BUT I got it on sale for my Kindle.

This book dragged my ass out of a bitter reading slump.

It's got SO MUCH to offer. A diverse cast, spice, romance, and a found family (I'm a sucker for a found family).

I ADORE Cinnamon. She's genuinely so funny, and her relationship with Fallon I DIED DEAD.

I felt like their relationship leaned towards insta-love, but that doesn't bother me.

I will definitely pick up the next books!
