Do you know when you read a book and you’re like, damn I should DNF this, but you keep reading cause you’re some sort of masochist? This was Icebreaker for me. This book went in circles, we lost an apparent main side character minutes into the book, like has anyone seen Ryan? When the main characters stopped using protection, I nearly threw the book accros the room. I had to text my best friend for surprise pregnancy spoilers (and google to see if it happened) because why!? I’m still annoyed the epilogue ended with a pregnancy because she was so open about wanting to adopt. And the ending with the big showdown with Aaron was actually pretty disappointing. The only good things about this book was the stress of importance of consent & Henry.
