Literally if we are dating let alone sleeping together do not consistently call me PeeWee and Kiddo. It felt like a brother and sister or dad and daughter decided to get together and I was not feeling it. Again, waaayyyyy too long. Do not make your books long just for the sake of them being that way. You can get your point across in not almost 600 pages of Bianca just repeating herself over and over again in her head. At least with The Wall of Winnipeg and Me I was slightly invested in the romance, this just felt icky to me and very juvenile. Another skip for me

Being a sucker for fake dating and best friends to lovers makes gives it a higher rating than what I think I normally would have with this book. It was cute at the end, but maybe I’m just over the intense amount of drama it takes for characters and books to get to their ending now

I’m so sad about this. I was expecting to fall head over in heels in absolute love with this book like I did with IHOS. I loved Hannah in Piper’s story, but I feel like she fell a little flat in her own. And maybe that was the point because she’s always able to step up when it comes to her sister, or other people, but doesn’t see herself as a leading lady, but…..this was her book. I wanted to love her like I loved Piper. And I didn’t care about Fox, let alone them getting together. I did not feel the same fire about them as a couple and was just meh about them getting together. Like great, one magical girl got a playboy with secret deep emotions to change his ways……anyway

Actually surprisingly really enjoyed this! The couple was cute and VERY in love. Steamy scenes, politics, sprinkle of Christmas, it was good even though it was not the safest beginning of letting a strange man come to your house??? Glad it worked out with love and not murder

Don’t mind me just being in love with this book! Definitely parts that felt very long and over explained, but every character was adorable, and I’m on my way to move to New York and meet my Jane, thank you very much

So this was interesting! It takes a long time to get through these books, they are HUGE. And it’s not that they’re not interesting, but there’s a lot going on all the time and it’s definitely not an easy light reading, you have to focus to remember characters and plot lines and situations that have happened. The ending was not unexpected with the hints given throughout the book, but will certainly make the third one interesting. I will agree it’s frustrating what happens after investing in the first book and what happens there, but we’ll see

This. Was. So. Long. It was very hyped up and did not meet those expectations for me. They’re a cute couple, I guess, if you can get past what a jerk the guy is for like most of the book
