A very cute story that perfectly blends culture, folklore, and modern life.

A very cute story that explores what it means to be a person. Overall this had a nice cozy and thoughtful feel to it. What kept this from being a five star read was I didn't love the twist at the end and I didn't think things with the mom were well resolved.

Nobody writes compelling characters quite like Robin Hobb. Despite the slow pacing and lack of action a lot of the time I found myself completely enthralled throughout the story.

A very solid YA horror. Very atmospheric. I did think it was rushed in spots so it didn't dug in as much as I would have liked but overall a good read.

I think this was by far the weakest in the series. It dragged in places and I found the end less than satisfactory. But overall I enjoyed this series.

Cute and fun like the others in the series, though the ending still felt rushed

A cute little slice of life romance. The spice was decent, nothing spectacular but not the worst. I did find it odd that we didn't get his POV until the very end though.
