This was probably one of my favorite books I’ve read this year! The story follows multiple narrators which some people dislike, but it really enjoy. I typically try to stay away from crime thrillers. I enjoy them it’s just hard to find a unique one. This is one very unique!!

It follows the story of a missing girl who spend x years with captors to finally escape and make her way back home. She had gone missing 10 years prior after her mother was found to have committed suicide and left a note simply saying the girl was safe. The timeline goes back and forth between the lead up to her disappearance and the aftermath of being found.

I thought this book was exciting and easy to read. It is a little dark with suicide and child abuse but the twists will keep you guessing until the end about what the real story behind her mother’s dead and her disappearance.

Short chapters. Very easy read. Does not end how you would you think. Didn’t love love the ending but it was very tense.

I enjoyed the plot. I just thought some of the characters and the writing were a little cheesy.

Loved it! It kept me guessing and I binged it in a few days because I wanted to unwrap the mystery of it.
