Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay

Did not finish book. Stopped at 24%.
I've been trying not to DNF during November, but this is a hard DNF. It was just boring and pretentious, despite being a fairly quick read.

I can't believe I finished the series. It's taken me a couple years at this point, but I'm both happy and sad that I finished. I love these characters so much, and even though the story was sometimes hard to get through, I just want to go back and reread them all over again. While I think that the story got a little too complicated at the end, I still loved it.

I usually don't rate nonfiction, but this really clicked with me. I appreciated the narrative style that it was told, because it was easy to follow. I also appreciated the epilogue, and I'm glad to know that Harold Gillies really was a great man.

The beginning was a little slow, and I had a hard time with the narrative shifts at first, but I ended up really liking it. The ending was super interesting, and I'm excited to continue the series. I wanted to learn more about Hal though.

Wow! I've been wanting to read more romance, and this was quick enough to just listen to, so I tried it. I'm not used to steamy books like this, but it was a quick enjoyable read!

Just rereading my favorite book during a scary time in history. I loved it, of course.

I kinda just felt meh about this book the whole time. There were a couple REALLY weird parts. I liked the ending though.
