this wasn't bad but I don't think the trope is really for me, how they met each other to then form a relationship felt weird to me for a while but her removing herself as the doctor made it a little better but still not amazing

the found family of this all was very good and little Jack was so cute and adorable I loved his growth in the story. his happy ending in the second epilogue brought me to TEARS. I would be lying if I didn't say I keep reading for his part in it all. I like Zak and Denise as characters, they had cute moments, but it felt like a love story on top of everything medically going on was a lot.

I enjoyed seeing previous couples as side characters but especially seeing Max and Matthew get along better.

Overall it wasn't a bad story but I don't the trope and i meshed well.

Okay I was down bad for Max, like the simp he turned into was everything. This was super enjoyable for me I didn't want to put it down. Max was not as OTT as the first two Heros so that was a change of pace but for this series but not in a bad way.

The ending felt rushed to me. Like in the last big moment only took up a couple chapters and I wish it was flushed out a little more.

Karrie is still my queen though the way she was handling Matthew at the end of this book had me dying

Talia Hibbirt has yet to disappoint me, she truly is my go to author at this point for a solid book with characters I love!! She writes FMC that take no one's shit and I eat it up every single time. This was a good brother's best friend for me as someone who doesnt alwavs reach for that trope! James and Nina's history was a great part of the story and their spice was spicing!!
