I was prepared for my flabbers to be gasted, especially seeing so many SS of the infamous Chapter 39, and yet this was mediocre at best.

This was definitely cute, a little lighter on the Daddy/boy aspect that I was expecting, but cute. Definitely wanted more of Ryder and Brennan’s story, it didn’t feel complete.

What better way to get over your cheating ex than with a hot hockey player AND his equally hot roomie/sorta boyfriend?!

The Christmas Rebound is short and smutty. There were no thoughts, just vibes.

Well, one thought: WHY DON'T AUTHORS WHO MAINLY WRITE MF LIKE TO USE LUBE WHEN DOING ANAL!?!?!?

- friends to lovers
- holiday romance
- hockey hottie
- sharing is definitely caring

Overworked and with no living family, Kirby rents a cabin in the mountains in the middle of nowhere for the month to December.

All of his alone time has him deciding things need to change, only Kirby doesn’t realize how much his life is about to be turned upside down after being attacked by a wolf in the woods.

I went in expecting just pure smut from An Alpha for the Holidays, which obviously it did not disappoint me there, but I really wasn’t expecting Kirby to be so hilarious.

I know if I’d been told I’d been turned into a werewolf and an omega I would have cracked, but he surprisingly takes it all in stride.

This was smutty and fun, and definitely left me wanting more of Kirby and Leigh’s story.
Gifted To His Dad by J. Wilder

Invited to spend the holidays at her boyfriend Cole’s family cabin, Eve is beyond nervous to meet his stepdad.

Griffin is nothing like she expected though, and the chemistry between them has her feeling guilty...

Well, until Cole asks if he can share her with his stepdad.

Gifted to His Dad was short, steamy, and fun. I did struggle a bit to like the characters in the beginning, but once the spicy goodness kicked in I just gave up caring.

I will say, this would have been so much better if the swords had crossed more but 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

- why choose romance
- boyfriend’s dad
- age gap
- DVP
Hook-up to Holidate by Rose Santoriello

- elfling + half orc
- coworkers
- fake dating

Indie goes home with a gorgeous orc and has the hottest night of her life, only to show up to work on Monday to find out the woman she can’t stop thinking about just so happens to be her new boss.

Indie and Vega do their best to keep things strictly professional, especially with the no fraternization policy at the university, but the chemistry between them is off the charts.

With a holiday break coming up, Indie needs a buffer between her and her family, and who better to pretend to be her fake girlfriend than Vega. The pair plan to use their week together as a way to get each other out of their systems, but obviously fail miserably.

Hook-up to Holidate was such a super cute and spicy read. I loved how well the story balanced the silliness and steaminess, but also touched on Indie’s anxiety and awful family.

Cruel Winter with You by Ali Hazelwood
Tropes: snowed in, best friend's little brother, second chance (sort of)
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

AH's books are hit or miss for me, but this was actually good??? & I lol'ed a lot. Honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed this.

Merry Ever After by Tessa Bailey
Tropes: small town, cowboy, single mom
Rating: ⭐⭐

All of the tropes I enjoy and a whole lot of potential, but somehow so cringe and off-putting.

All by My Elf by Olivia Dade
Tropes: coworkers, snowed in (sort of), only one wiener truck
Rating: ⭐⭐

This was weird and could have been so much better if it were longer.

Merriment and Mayhem by Alexandria Bellefleur
Tropes: fireman, damsel in distress
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐.5

Honestly the constant trouble Everleigh got into made me laugh, the chemistry between her and Griffin was fantastic, and this was just all around a good time! I did wish there was an epilogue or something, as this ended very abruptly but whatevs.

Only Santas in the Building by Alexis Daria
Tropes: neighbors, secret admirer
Rating: ⭐️⭐️.5

It was cute but I didn’t feel a connection between Evie and Theo at all
