Did not finish book.

Frankenstein: The 1818 Text by Mary Shelley

This is, by far, my favorite classic. It hit me with a plot I didn't expect, but ended up liking it. What kept me going was the sensitivity and how driven Frankenstein is.
The only detail I didn't like is how many details there are in the narration of Victor's trips. I feel like a lot could be cut off without the plot feeling like something is missing.
It spoke to me in a way only a few books have done it. I think many people have felt like Frankeinstein at some point and are looking in a higher power for justice.

Wuthering Height by Emily Brontë

The good thing about this book is how well the domestic abuse is portrayed, passing on from one generation to the next one and so on. Not even the girls were safe from it. I specially loved when Heathchliff was at focus and how well this character was made, even though I hated him with every fiber of my being, which makes him a very well-made character. Overall, it was a great book.
Now, what I didn't like was how the narrators would change suddenly, causing me to get lost and having to re-read a couple of times until I understood the narrator was someone else; it could've been avoided with an omniscient narrator. Sometimes I wanted to stop reading it, it was slow-paced with things that weren't interesting, but that might be just me.

The Return by Nicholas Sparks

The Return is my first Nicholas Sparks reading and even though I didn't expect much, I did enjoy the subplot where Trevor helps Callie out. The relationship Trevor had with Natalie was tiresome to me, that's why I'm not giving it more stars. Plus, the way Trevor thought about women in general and how they were narrated was sometimes sexist.
