The Return is my first Nicholas Sparks reading and even though I didn't expect much, I did enjoy the subplot where Trevor helps Callie out. The relationship Trevor had with Natalie was tiresome to me, that's why I'm not giving it more stars. Plus, the way Trevor thought about women in general and how they were narrated was sometimes sexist.
