The Monsters of Templeton by Lauren Groff

I enjoyed this book. The main character is flawed and actually human and the relationships in her life ring true. Groff also did a great job of telling the stories of different ancestors in their own unique voices.

I like this series and this particular one was better than some of the others. I also like that Anna is actually getting a personal life.

I didn't love it and I didn't hate it. The main character was a little too good for me, caring, religious, smart, "honorable," etc.

I just think this is a fun, light sereis. The whole zombie issue wasn't really taken care of well, in my opinion, but the book is still fun. I especially like that even though Garnet has the ex who loves her and an interested FBI agent, in the end she sticks with Sebastien.

I really enjoyed this one. I think partly because so much of it takes place in Faerie. I also love Butcher's sense of humor, like at the end were the wizard and werewolves sit down to pizza and a role-playing game.

I enjoy the writing and the characters. The plot in this one involved an ancient God, Moloch. I wasn't crazy about that aspect.
