Summer Knight by Jim Butcher

I really enjoyed this one. I think partly because so much of it takes place in Faerie. I also love Butcher's sense of humor, like at the end were the wizard and werewolves sit down to pizza and a role-playing game.

I enjoy the writing and the characters. The plot in this one involved an ancient God, Moloch. I wasn't crazy about that aspect.

I don't know much about horses, but I liked the characters in this book. The plot was also good, with twist and turns and several suspects.

This book centers on two women's quests, on in the 1970's and one during the French Revolution. These women's searches involve a chess set that contains the secret to the elixir of life. The author goes overboard with her chess theme and the storyline is realy too far-fetched, but those are also the reasons I like the book. It has chess, love, math, adventure, prophets, nuns, killings, spies, etc. It's a fun read.

I enjoy these stories. There are flaws, but overall they're a lot of fun. I like how he adds new characters but keeps some of the old ones.

I honestly didn't know anything about Audrey Hepburn other than that she was a movie star. This book made her more of a multi-dimensional person to me. It was good, not great.

I was expecting more about the Mothman. Overall the book was okay, but it jumped around a lot for me. I didn't find it creepy, but I can see why some people could. Keel's theories and "proof" are interesting.
