Neon Gods by Katee Robert

I didn't expect that I'll enjoy Neon Gods as much as I did, but it really delivered the spice and romance it intended to give. And please, I want what Hades and Persephone have.

The only thing that made me not entirely love this book was the lack of jitters that it was supposed to make me feel, and it honestly left me disappointed because this book had so much potential, only to fall short at the very end.

A quick and enjoyable romance read. But I need a more discreet cover, please.

It's giving poorly-written fanfiction energy.

My expectations were high only to be met by something drastic. (I actually DNFed this book but decided to just finish it instead.)

Don't get me wrong, I really liked that it was able to tackle the characters' addiction—especially Lily's—which our society doesn't usually acknowledges; but my issue is that most of the things that transpired were so dragging. It honestly felt like reading more than twenty chapters with the same events happening in a different context, and only something different happened at the last few chapters.

Will still read and try to give this series a chance (and hopefully it won't disappoint).

Ricochet delivered the very exact things that I was looking for in Addicted to You.

Half of this novella is Sadie describing Erik as big, and the other half is pure miscommunication.
