OMG the illustrations in this were absolutely gorgeous 😱💖🤩
I would actually buy this just for the visuals.

Eh...
While I really love the world Sarah Blue has created in Love in the Veil, I personally feel like Daddy Cupid needed more pages / chapters to accomodate the 3 different MCs.
I didn't feel the same amount of love I had for Love and Death, Juliet and Mors ❤️🩹
The next book looks so good tho!

Wow, this was kinda boring 🥱
I feel like I've seen and read Dante's type of character before in a bunch of other books, so he wasn't interesting to me at all.
Vivian, I actually liked, but I was surprised at how quickly she stated going out with Dante post third act breakup.
The only thing I truly enjoyed from King of Wrath were Isabella and Kai characters— even Monty! 🐍 — and for them I'm definitely keen to read.
But I don't think it will be anytime soon 🙃

~ The MMC looks like Theo James? Yes pleaseeee ~
A short, sweet and 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Christmas book.
I really loved listening to the narrators—Shane East, KC Sheridan, Zara Hampton Brown—and all of their accents 🥰

This was definitely on track to getting 5 stars but that ending... Oh my god 😅
Since That One That Got Away was only 3 ish hours long, I wasn't expecting a lot of drama—just some heartbreak and grovelling—but dayum!
Liam, you almost fucked up there at the end.
Actually, I take that back, YOU DID, and Cassie forgave you wayyyy too easily 💀
The DNM conversation should've happened before y'all fucked but noooo... Liam was all "that was amazing; we can't see each other again" like WOT?! 😭
So I'm bringing this down to 4 stars ⭐️ because of THAT ONE SCENE lol

Is this really the end? 🥺
GAH I can understand why but WHY ❤️🩹
This entire series was absolutely beautiful to listen to—both the stories and narrator!—and I'm sad to see that it's finally come to an end.
And as someone who's binge read / listened to all of Adalyn Grace' books, I would recommend every single on of them ❣️

Loved Astrid and Soren, but I kind of hated how hidden their relationship was—regardless of the forbidden trope—and how it was all revealed at the end end.
Still enjoyed Superbia and the world so far ❣️

Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson
Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.

I started reading this earlier in the year (and stopped a week or two in) and somewhere along the way I thought it would be a good idea to watch The Princess Bride since that was the inspiration for this book.
And while the book and movie were interesting worlds on their own, my brain decided to blend the two of them in the worst way possible, making it really hard to get back into this.
So, one day in the future I'll try reading Tress of the Emerald Sea again but I don't think it will be any time soon ✌🏻
