First time reading Leonard Cohen. Didn't hate it.

Lines I Loved:

Wanted to read before watching new movie. Didn’t disappoint.

Beautifully written. At times very dark and heavy. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the other works of Kaur. Was looking forward to this and wasn’t disappointed. Beautiful words and illustrations. Not much variance in themes.

Needed a quick read to get through the weekend. Not terrible. Not ground breaking.

If you have not read this you ABSOLUTELY need to. It's inspirational, written from the heart, and extremely genuine. It left me feeling uplifted and ready to take on the world. While I have read other reviews that stated this was gendered, I would highly disagree. All can take a lesson from Abby Wambach.

Holy hell, I loved this. The dark, foreboding sense that these words will stay with me is unparalleled in other short collections I've picked up. I highly recommend this.

Coben is a mastermind at weaving an intricate tale of “who did it?” I fell in love with Elizabeth in the first five pages even though she wasn’t present for them. Wonderfully done. Hard to put down.
