if kit knew his brother was master spy why didn’t he figure it out sooner since he saw him? are there no security cameras? kits “cover” was so weak and if he’s brother was spying why didn’t he figure out he worked for the renegades? ghost showed his face kit so many times and james is a “master spy” why didn’t he see his face by now? and so much more
i like following kits i just wish things made more sense. i also like ghost and him together. if book two comes out and remember i’ll be reading for them tbh.

lysanders issues seemed confusing. i didn’t fully understand until the midway point. eroan goals and drive made more sense from the beginning. the world was interesting but confusing. lysanders mothers power still makes no sense. also incest vibes was confusing. the romance was weird bec i was rooting for them but i didn’t even think they knew each other well enough.

between the dry narration and the writing except for some language used this didn’t feel like the nineteen twenties.
i liked the characters and i liked the magic. it was simple story and i like simple. what i didn’t like is the romance. this a three book series why did it need to be rushed like this? the rory trusted arthur so fast was illogical and made no sense for his character.

Winter's Orbit by Everina Maxwell
this was fun. i would’ve preferred more jainan and kiem spending time together before the i love yous. despite that i like both characters alone and together so that’s nice. this lite sci-fi heavy politics with some romance and enjoyed it.

i don’t fully get what’s going on. if there was prologue or something that just gave the what is what about the religions and the political structure i think i would’ve enjoy a bit more. unripe the last chapter i thought it was two diff kings. i also just realized the moon vamps exist out of nik. it’s just so confusing.

i know this is a serialised podcast hence why it’s so freaking slow. i feel like i’m experiencing every minute they live. the romance side of things are moving fast. it leans heavily on the fledgling master relationship so it’s super boring. i like the concept but the way it’s going isn’t for me.
