A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro

rather disappointing… as the other books by Ishiguro this made me feel things, but it certainly wasn’t the best feeling in the world - I mean, I was hella annoyed with some of the characters (THE woman and her father in law) throughout the book and sometimes I didn’t even know what was going on (even though I knew that this is connected with the protagonist’s lost connection with especially time and her emotions - I did see the concept, but it was poorly executed).

I genuinely thought that this is the play by Nora and Delia Ephron, but in reality this is “solely” the book the play was based on… my god, I’m so disappointed in myself. Other than that, I understood the concept (loved and could relate to it), but it expected so much more.
