A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro
mysterious
fast-paced
2.5
rather disappointing… as the other books by Ishiguro this made me feel things, but it certainly wasn’t the best feeling in the world - I mean, I was hella annoyed with some of the characters (THE woman and her father in law) throughout the book and sometimes I didn’t even know what was going on (even though I knew that this is connected with the protagonist’s lost connection with especially time and her emotions - I did see the concept, but it was poorly executed).
