Weird premise, and if someone stole my bag and someone else found it and came to my apartment while I was in a coma and knew everything about me while I knew nothing about him, I'd call the police and move apartments. But I guess they're just french? It was cute if you ignore all that

Short, sweet, perfect if you're looking something light to read!
I really enjoyed Laurent's character. And the fact that it takes in Paris and is described quite well takes it up a notch!

Appropriate to finish this book on Valentine’s Day. A sweet, predictable tale of a man who finds a purse and goes about trying to find the owner. The ending is not surprising, but touchingly romantic.

Not terrible, but not my cup of tea or particularly worthwhile. I finished it because it was extremely short (the last third is at least an improvement, but not so much I'd tell anyone to bother?). Very much... a straight man who thinks he is romantic wrote this.

A beautiful little book, more a novella than a novel, that I stumbled on in a used bookstore. I love these little discoveries; I love stumbling upon an author I had never known and then being taken away on a journey into their mind.

This book is quite with a good heart. It reminds me a bit of Frederick Backman. It is about a romance of sorts but is not a romance novel. Recently somebody asked me what I like to read and I struggled to answer. He didn't know what I meant by literary fiction, and really, that is such a sup-par categorization. I think I ended up saying that I like to read about people and their interior lives and the lives they live. Not the most elegant way to say it, but that is what I like to read and this book is exactly that.
