I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to read this or not but I’m glad I did. It was very interesting to me to see the deeper faith that wasn’t always clear to see on camera. It flows together well with two separate voices which I’m sure was a huge task.
I was also impressed with the respect and care given to tell much of their story but to honor all people that may have impacted the story and to not give any ammo to the masses.

I've watched the Duggars from their start, my guilty pleasure. I've enjoyed their family even though I don't agree with some of their theology. But it was a good book to catch an inside look into things I'd watched on the show. Their faith is very strong, but sometimes I get turned off by "christian-ese", but that's just me and my faults I guess.

I listened to the audiobook, it was pleasant to listen to and kept my attention. I enjoyed reading about their story and message of hope.

Loved this one! Their faith through all of the things they have walked through. Their honesty in their struggles. The is peace in the promises of God. There really really is.

It’s a book about a reality star... I had no high hopes of Shakespearean quality. But I enjoyed hearing the (crazy) story of their delayed courting (umm because her fam religious beliefs are a bit neurotic) and I appreciate them using their voices to share how their faith has moved them through life and I’m enjoying seeing Jinger grow into a woman of her own faith apart from her family.

I didn't know how much I needed to hear this message. Hearing the stories of their journeys, how they were able to find their own truths, how they found each other, and the words of wisdom/biblical examples/interpretation views/reminders of God's promises, were just what I needed to hear. And I didn't even know that I needed them. I made several notes as reminders for myself, and was provided with several personal affirmations about questioning what I'm told rather than relying on someone's ruling on what is being said or is said in the bible. As someone on their own spiritual discovery journey, I am truly thankful for this book. I was a fan of the show, and many times did not understand their convictions and beliefs. I didn't judge their convictions, just merely didn't understand why they did certain things or why they interpreted certain verses to "make those rules". Thank you for sharing your stories, and may you continue to be a beacon of light to help others find their own way and truths.
