This was everything I love about Desi Romance. It was a little bit of magic from all different points of view and had such great short stories. From meddling aunties, to true love, there was something for everyone here. I love novellas and short stories because they give me little bits with big feels.
Thank you to the authors, Netgalley and Page Street for an early copy.

These were sweet and interesting stories, but I didn’t finish it before the library loan was due and I’m not in the mood for short stories right now. Hopefully I’ll come back to it in the future.

Some of the stories were good and some were just not for me. Overall a joyful anthology.

This collection features short stories about the cultural heritage of South Asian communities and their wedding traditions. The stories themselves fall under the young adult and romance genres. I liked most of the stories (there was just one that felt like it didn’t “fit” - A Very Bloody Kalynaman) and enjoyed the fairy godmother character present in each one. If you are looking for a sweet, easy read that features Desi weddings, this is one that I would recommend that you add to your list!
