A brief review:

Laura weaves mythology into a contemporary romance beautifully. Owen is well written and you will fall in love with him easily. A great romance series and one you should check out if you enjoy reading about gods and the women they fall for.

I am wavering between 3 or 3.5 stars. I enjoyed the beginning and the ending much better than the middle of this book, due to the lack of conflict between the protags. While Owen and Megan make a wonderful couple, their courtship didn't engage my imagination because they were both so nice. So perfect! So lacking in flaws. Never the less, I am looking forward to West of Want, the next book in the series, because I like the premise so much.

I really liked this book, but I thought that it could have been a bit longer, to show what their lives would look like after they left the cabin.

I liked Megan, but Owen was the best. Maybe it’s because I haven’t read about such a cheerful character for quite some time, but I really liked how happy and enthusiastic he was about everything. I need to find more books with characters like him.

Even though Megan and Owen’s relationship happened quickly, I didn’t think that it was rushed as the relationship development was shown, so there was nothing abrupt about it.

I liked the story and how the setting was so obvious in every scene. I really liked how this book showed Owen’s ability with the snow and how warmth affected him.

I liked how Owen’s vagueness doesn’t really affect Megan and how she doesn’t get annoyed with him when he reveals things only when she’s ready. There was no conflict in this book, apart from at the end, which was refreshing.

I really liked this book and the setting, but I wanted to see some scenes of when they go to wherever they’re going to live permanently and what their lives would look like. Also, I wanted to see some scenes when Owen meets Megan’s family, and I wanted to see the scenes when Owen’s relatives (other gods) come to visit them.

I really liked this book, and I can’t wait to read the other books in the series, although I do hope that there will be more side characters and that the books won’t take place during a holiday.

Nice, easy read with not a whole lot of action or tension.
I liked the Hero/Owen and never would've imagined a Snow God would be hot!

The last thing Megan Snow expected when she decided to stay in her mountain cabin is to find an unconscious man on her doorstep. Called to life by Megan’s tears, snow god Owen Winters is determined to help Megan live again.

It’s been years since I read this series so I figured it was time for a reread, especially since I can’t remember what happened. I liked this book. It was a feel good holiday romance with a hunky winter god.

“I have existed an immeasurable amount of time, and never been more happy, more content, than I am with you. You are the light of my life, Megan Winters.”

Megan is still grieving over the death of her husband two years ago. Her story is heartbreaking and emotional. With Owen help though she is able to work through her guilt and grief. Owen was a very sweet god. Both of these characters were so compassionate and sweet, which really helped bring the story out of the heavier topics and emotions.

This was a very unique world filled with elemental gods and mythology. I can’t wait to reread the rest of the series and rediscover the characters and world.

Nice December read, but nothing that i couldn't miss. Still I was in a mood for a winter/Christmas book, and the novel provided a good time.
