It’s been years since I read this series so I figured it was time for a reread, especially since I can’t remember what happened. I liked this book. It was a feel good holiday romance with a hunky winter god.

“I have existed an immeasurable amount of time, and never been more happy, more content, than I am with you. You are the light of my life, Megan Winters.”

Megan is still grieving over the death of her husband two years ago. Her story is heartbreaking and emotional.With Owen help though she is able to work through her guilt and grief. Owen was a very sweet god. Both of these characters were so compassionate and sweet, which really helped bring the story out of the heavier topics and emotions.

This was a very unique world filled with elemental gods and mythology. I can’t wait to reread the rest of the series and rediscover the characters and world.
