Don't Worry

short lessons to service as a reminder that worrying will bring you nowhere. we don’t have power of certain stuff in life, let go and let God.

Picked this book back up earlier this month because it wasn’t relatable to me last year.
This book is much more relatable when you’re working with a bunch of people, especially those who are difficult to deal with when you have a lot of worries and emotional baggage of your own.
The advices in this book are mediocre, but it serves as a nice reminder.

There were a lot of great takeaways in this, but it's largely written for a corporate audience (which I am not). The last section, which deals with relationships, was the section I was most looking for insight on. I was disappointed though, because though the author wrote up to this point in a voice that is considerate of how multifaceted people are, Masuno's voice changes to speaking empirically about motivations and zeroes in on a single issue that is a nonissue for most people I know.
That being said, I found enough of this work valuable and will be reading Simple Living when I can get my hands on it.

Definitely some highlighted points but I didn’t find this groundbreaking or truly eye opening. Also I’m not sure why but it was such a slog.

This book offers 48 short lessons on relieving anxiety and finding your Zen.

This is the type of book you come back to many times to re read the different sections. Nothing revolutionary but very digestible and nice small chapters
