This was the most wholesome romance ever!
It wasn't as slow burn, as one thought it might be (since it was clearly advertised as one), but I still really enjoyed it! Also the different cultural aspects where very interesting and I loved the inclusion of the japanese and italian backgrounds of the two main characters.
All in all this was really cute and I will want to continue with this series (although I don't think the continuations are necessary, because this book can stand alone quite well).

it just didn't work for me at all.

Aesthetically it's nice, romance dynamic is great. But... it felt like draft.
And worldbuilding is a mess, character development is almost non-existent (the hero is perfect, all he needs is a perfect partner now). I don't know

It has vibes, it reads like first volume of manga. It maybeeee could have worked as graphic novel, though it would be nice to have some plot and not only meticulously arranged scenes for two heroes to conveniently be there and fall in love with each other.
