My god every story is a punch in the gut! It's taken me so long to finish this book because I feel the need to just sit and digest what I've read after each short story. The writing is phenomenal and the pacing is superb, Sachdeva is an absolute wizard with the written word and her short stories are phenomenal. I don't even know how to explain how much I enjoyed this book. Killer of kings and Pleiades were my favourites but every single story was incredible.

All The Names for God was my favourite out of all of the stories here. Manus lost me a little with the dystopian fiction. There was a lot of genres tackled (with mermaids too) but overall it kept me interested and felt like a mixed bag of many genres in one book.

Each of the stories in this collectuon is wonderfully written. I would gladly read each as a full novel, but telling such robust and captivating tales in a short story format is beyond impressive. I would recommend this collection to anyone.
