Each of the stories in this collectuon is wonderfully written. I would gladly read each as a full novel, but telling such robust and captivating tales in a short story format is beyond impressive. I would recommend this collection to anyone.
Graphic: Physical abuse, Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Kidnapping, and Religious bigotry
Some stories in this book deal with difficult topics, but it is worth the read. Content warning for title story.
