can't even remember if that's the percentage i was at, i just rage quit and deleted it. one of the brothers tried to
fucking rape
the girl WHO IS SEVENTEEN YEARS OLD and not only do the characters act and try to convince her that it's normal but the author makes the girl say
"oh but for a moment there i wanted it"
fuck that, fuck this book, and fuck this author for ever writing this. this is completely irresponsible and it's baffling to me that this book is in the "romance" category. and what i mentioned isn't even the start of it. yes, "uncle jake", it is fucked up of you to think of and picture your 17 year old niece (putting a "step-" before that doesn't make her less your responsability)
fucking someone
when you were supposed to take care of her after her fucked up parents both commited suicide. what's wrong with people who read this shit and even recommend it?

this book is supposed to be dark and twisted, and it definitely was. i gave it 4 stars because some of the twists were pretty predictable - still a good read. please again check TW, this won’t be for everyone (SA, dub con, etc.). they’re manipulative for sure, but i knew they weren’t going to be great because this is *supposed to be dark.* 

i felt really grossed out about her uncle, it was my least favorite part… even though the author knows how to write a good spicy scene. idk. blegh. i know they aren’t at all blood related in any way, but it still was just ewwie LOL

as a woman, i am disappointed in myself that i really enjoyed this book. my feminism is just so far out of the window at this point.
not going to lie, i was rooting for jake through most of it. noah wasn't it for me and he was my least favorite. i did like how 'mysterious' kaleb was so i was excited she finally spent a lot of time with him.
towards the end though, i didn't like the time jumps. i was excited to find out how noah and jake reacted to kaleb speaking again, and their reaction to tiernan and kaleb getting into a relationship. that would've made the book better; in my opinion.
nonetheless, i think it was very good and fun overall. the writing was giving very much wattpad, but that's okay. that's what made it extremely addicting:)
