Great finish for the series. Loved how Daphne, Heath, Cade, and Bradley navigated working towards being a RH. This is a clean series, with some kissing and cuddling, but nothing to much. Looking forward to reading the books about the best friend.. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I have to admit that after the first two books, I was a little wondering how Greenwood was gonna tie up everything in this one last book. I was therefore quite excited to start this arc, which I got via BookSprout, this morning, especially because Greenwood's books are perfect to read on travel days and I knew I needed something light hearted and heart warming today.

And light hearted and heart warming it was. I really loved how Greenwood eventually brought the entire group together. I have to admit that I would have loved to see a little more of Bradley and Cade, but it's quite clear that Daphne has a group of amazing guys around her, supporting her through everything and always having her back.

I also really loved how the reason Daphne initially started talking to Heath was not just forgotten. Heath has been hurt, he simply knows that letting Daphne go will hurt him even more. I'm quite sure that Daphne, with her soft natured personality and actually, strangely enough, her honesty, will prove that his trust in her is absolutely justified.

And of course there was still Emma to deal with. I love how Greenwood has characters appearing in different stories. Even though you can perfectly read each series without having read any of the other stories, you will recognize more and more faces the more and more you read. And for some reason, I'd love for her to get her own story. I'm curious about her now!

Just like the previous two books I enjoyed this one. It's a solid ending to the series and I liked seeing how things played out. It did feel that this book was quite full with lots of things that happened, the problem with Daphne getting cat features while not in cat form, the romance/ reverse harem aspect and a mean sort-of ex of Heath who wants to get Daphne expelled.

I enjoyed reading how everything got resolved although some scenes lacked a bit of impact for me. This book is quite fast paced with short chapters which makes for an easy read. I enjoy the style and it works well for these books. There are some things that get resolved a bit too easily, but I also appreciate there is little drama and complications. It keeps things feeling pretty light and uplifting. I did notice we never hear anything from the teacher from book 1 anymore who seemed to dislike Daphne, I thought for sure she would return in later books, but guess not.

The romance only turns into a reverse harem in this book and was excited to see how it happened. I thought the way the harem developed was a bit off, but I did like how they all communicate and are all open for the idea. Unfortunately I am still not a fan of Cade, while it's clear he has feelings for Daphne, I never felt that Daphne was interested back in him until they start dating and even then it only seems to be because he's her boyfriend. I do really like Bradley and Heath, they both seem like great guys and I feel Daphne's connection with them and wish it had stayed with just the two of them. I like the few scenes we get of them as a group and I hope there's a bit more of that in the last novella as I wanted to see more of them after they all get together.

I liked seeing a bit more of the magic in this book, but it still feels like we barely scratched the surface, maybe that's because this series needs to be read alongside the Grimalkin Kittens series or maybe it's just because the world building is more of the setting and flavor than the main focus. You only get the details that are relevant to the plot. I liked what we do see of the magic like the cat spell and a bit about potions, curses and charms even in this book, but it still stays pretty limited.

To summarize: this was a solid ending to this series. Like the earlier books it's an easy read, with short chapters and a fast pace, which I enjoyed. This book has quite a lot going on with multiple plot lines that need to be resolved. I liked finding out how everything got resolved. The way the harem develop felt a bit off, but I like how they form a tight group and communicate well. I am still not a fan of Cade as never felt like Daphne was interested in him before she started dating him. Bradley and Heath are great tough and I liked their relationship with Daphne. I would've liked to see a bit more of them as a group as that only happens so late in the series. The magic and world building stays a bit limited to only the details that are relevant and I would've liked to see more, but I am glad we got some more bits in this book. All in all this is an enjoyable series and I would recommend it to those looking for a YA academy series with magic and reverse harem romance with no heat.

Daphne is having a little side effect from the spell. It’s going to take a Witch, a Warlock, a Wizard, and a Vampire to fix her problems and find a solution to the even harder one.

This book was a lot of fun, even when we had a little evil vampire trying to cause some problems. I suggest for all lovers of Laura’s work and those that might be new to her books, but start at book 1!!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Daphne has found the spell and it didn't go the way they thought now she has to find a way to fix the side affects. Also we have Emma trying everything she can to get Daphne away from Heath. It turns out she needs all her men including her Brother to help reverse the effects of the cat spell. can Daphne reverse the spell effects, keep Emma from getting her expelled, and get all the guys, well you will have to read to find out

Catching A Warlock is the final book in the Grimalkin Academy: Catacombs trilogy, and I’ve loved each of the 3 books in this series just as much as the other.

Daphne’s time at at the academy is full of adventures, magic and more, and this book continued with the great story and characters. I highly recommend the Grimalkin Academy: Catacombs reverse harem, paranormal academy series.

Love this series on Daphne which is a runoff from the main series about Mona. It is an interesting school and seeing it from different students perspective gives a more thorough understanding of it. Was glad to see that Daphne sorted out her love life and beat Emma at her own game. A good ending, although I want more from this school.
