Catching A Warlock by Laura Greenwood
4.0
I have to admit that after the first two books, I was a little wondering how Greenwood was gonna tie up everything in this one last book. I was therefore quite excited to start this arc, which I got via BookSprout, this morning, especially because Greenwood's books are perfect to read on travel days and I knew I needed something light hearted and heart warming today.
And light hearted and heart warming it was. I really loved how Greenwood eventually brought the entire group together. I have to admit that I would have loved to see a little more of Bradley and Cade, but it's quite clear that Daphne has a group of amazing guys around her, supporting her through everything and always having her back.
I also really loved how the reason Daphne initially started talking to Heath was not just forgotten. Heath has been hurt, he simply knows that letting Daphne go will hurt him even more. I'm quite sure that Daphne, with her soft natured personality and actually, strangely enough, her honesty, will prove that his trust in her is absolutely justified.
And of course there was still Emma to deal with. I love how Greenwood has characters appearing in different stories. Even though you can perfectly read each series without having read any of the other stories, you will recognize more and more faces the more and more you read. And for some reason, I'd love for her to get her own story. I'm curious about her now!
