This was dark, dark, dark.
The heroine get's hurt mutliple times in the worst ways.
I couldn't handle it at times.
Nevertheless, the story was engaging.

Sadly I DNF'd this book. The plot fell a bit short for me in all honestly.

I want Emma Cole in jail for whatever this garbage trash was.
This review is coming from somebody who has read almost everything mafia and reverse harem. So the substance was not the issue for me. The writing was. Violence against women was the only plot motivator, with a little bit of miscommunication trope to sprinkle on top.
By the end the romance between the characters had not been developed for shit, and the entire story had devolved into torture porn.
Don’t read this book this book is trash. It takes a lot for a book to actually make me angry and this book actually made me angry. Also not to mention the bad editing there were sentences missing words that you just had to skip past and try to make sense of.

This wasn't bad but it wasn't good lol.
I'm sticking to my tbr because I keep landing in these traps.
Eden grew up with the heirs to the Carlotti empire, Tony, Vanni, Marco, and Santos. Eden and Santos were sweethearts and after a complicated incident she runs away leaving them behind. Eden and Santos both think they have betrayed each other. Eden has lived a very different life after leaving turning to drugs and prostitution while Tony, Vanni, Marco, and Santos have been building their empire. One night Eden is discovered by the men after a shootout at the club she works in. They've got her back and they plan on finding out why she left in the first place.
I liked this book initially because of the interesting twist but after getting through the mild I was not impressed by the progression of the story. This is an RH dark romance and it definitely possesses the dark aspect so I'll give it that. But for a proclaimed RH it doesn't really showcase that. all intimate scenes but one are basically unsavory. There is one scene when they are all intimate and it honestly just felt wrong. It was missing the romance and the character building. The only person you get to know really is Eden and she's a whole mess.
I don't think I'll read book 2. I'm severely uninspired to see what happens next.

A page turner that doesn't disappoint. It's dark, a little gritty and raw. There's action, suspense, twists and turns that unravel throughout this story. It'll have you on edge. It's a fantastic story that I definitely recommend reading.
Wow
This book was dark
Granted I've read darker but check your trigger warnings first
I love Eden and the guys and I can't wait to see how their duet ends
10/3

I just... WOW. The first word that comes to mind is elegant. As dark as this book was, and despite the gut churning emotions it provokes, it is just so smoothly written I was lost in the story thoroughly. The transitions between character viewpoints were flawless and seriously sucked you in.
I was SO invested in this book, I was at a loss at the end, this keeps happening and it's proof that these authors have seriously stepped up their game. This book is so raw and honest you can't help but feel like you're living it. The incidents herein aren't sugar coated and manipulated for intimacy they are written with an exactness that one would assume was from nothing other that experience. It was nothing but real. Absolutely stunning.
No Good Deed is a masterpiece and deserves every bit of praise available. Standing ovations all around. I'm ready for an encore.

Holy Sh**, that was freaking intense. There was debauchery, there was personal growth, and a whole tone of violence. No Good Deed was an intense mafia themed read with a RH twist. Between the past and current timelines, I was kept completely engrossed from beginning to end. There are also some VERY dark scenes that left me feeling rather bereft. Left on a bit of a cliffhanger, I CAN'T WAIT to see what happens next in this dark duet.
